VHOLUME released worldwide on August 21, 2026 via Steam. The free 4-level demo is still available and now sits at Overwhelmingly Positive user reviews, with the full game at Very Positive based on its opening weekend.
Within 3 days of launch, the game hit a peak concurrent player count of 1,053 on Steam, with current players hovering around 600. Twitch viewership is steady, and the mapping community on Steam Workshop is already producing levels.

VHOLUME is currently PC-only via Steam (Windows).

Important: the game supports DualSense and Xbox controllers on PC. That is not the same as a native console release.
Free 4-Level Demo
The free demo is a separate Steam app and is the best way to try VHOLUME before buying. It includes:
- 4 demo levels (Conapt sequence, plus Sewers / Roseau / Dreamland / Mechanisms / Vestiges / Jungle / Dum)
- Full multiplayer support (real-time and ghost racing)
- Hidden secrets and collectibles in every level
- Steam Cloud, Steam Achievements, Steam Leaderboards
The demo has been updated several times during its lifetime (since February 2026), so what's in the demo today is significantly tighter than the early build.

For competitive play, prioritise stability over visual quality. The game's TSR anti-aliasing has been reported to cause frame drops on some systems — if your framerate is inconsistent, switch AA modes before tweaking anything else.
